Tafe EyeAR

January 2020

We were commissioned by TAFE NSW, Australia's leading provider for education and training courses.  Whether you're a school leaver, an aspiring apprentice, looking to kickstart a career, or you're upskilling, reskilling, or re-training, TAFE NSW offers a course to give people the skills for the job they want.

As part of their approach to training TAFE have embraced AR and VR to bring course work and training to life. In this example we helped create an exploded view of an eye as part of their exploration of anatomy and physiology. This EyeAR project incorporated a quiz to test students on their basic understanding of the various anatomical elements that make up the eye. This framework could then be used for other body parts and modules for humans and animals as part of quest for 'active learning through doing' and encouraging deeper memory encoding and time to competency through this level of interaction.
