Minions at Carrefour

Minions is this summer’s must-see movie (the little yellow guys also happen to be a bit of a favourite here at Zappar HQ…).

Shoppers in France are able to collect special edition Minions playing cards and collection tins by shopping at their local Carrefour store.

Zapping the cards and tins reveals a Minions Paradise world where the user can decorate their tropical island.

Each one unlocks a virtual item for their island as well as a piece of Minions content to enjoy — 3D animations, clips from the movie and images to download and use as their mobile screen saver.

There’s even the option to pose for a selfie with your favourite Minions.
